why cant i download on my memory card

Trying to sownload anything on my lenovo and keeps telling me insuffiient storage to download app2sd. Why did I buy memory card to not use

Well SD cards can't have apps downloaded to them, nor run them from it, unless the device is running Android "Marshmallow" and the manufacturer hasn't restricted the option. Which does happen. So if you are running a different version, it won't work for you.

You can, however, free up space by moving photos, music, videos, etc., over to the SD card.
