Why does Google Calendar between iPhone and Android do this?

It seems like the iPhone is actually better. If it is across multiple days, and example would be this: ex. Birthday (Day 2/5). So much better, and I need that total days thing. On android, it doesn't even show it. It just shows birthday for 5 days. So how do I fix this?

I read your post three times, and still can't get it. Google Calendar shows all birthdays on my Android, for years ahead (and these Birthdays are shown in separate calendars).

Thats not what I meant. Ok, let me make it clearer. If i have a birthday event for 5 days, it looks diff:

iPhone: Birthday (Day 1/5) Android: Birthday

On Android, it won't have the (Day x/y), and itll just go on until its done. How do i make it like the iPhone one.

May be you just can't, especially if the two calendar apps are coming from different developers (eg Apple' own Calendar synced to Google, vs Android' own calendar).

There is no way that the app is being made by someone other than Google. Here I'll give pictures:

Why are they different like that?
