Why does my brand new HP computer say Acer on the screen?

I just bought an HP computer, went through the set-up process and the screen says "ACER". What is up with that? Do I have an Acer hard drive in my HP computer?

It was brand new, I went through the set-up process and the ACER wallpaper came up. Please don't chide me because I am not computer/tech savvy. I want to know why ACER shows up on my HP. thats all. I know they are two different companies.

Are you sure it not an HP monitor with Acer desktop? or Acer monitor with HP desktop?
