Why does my lgv10 take so long

I recently bought a lgv10 when I turn it on it says 'Optimizing Android app 1 of 1' and then some other stuff but it takes 10 to 15 minutes for the phone to turn on. Why so long and is there anything I can do to speed up my start up time?

That sounds really odd. No phone should take that long. I would suggest returning it and getting them to exchange it for a working model.
