i have a ps3 hdmi port on my laptop my laptop isnt reading the ps3 how do i play on my laptop ?

laptop only have video out? you cannot use the laptop as a monitor

The HDMI port on a laptop is a display output port. It is used to connect the laptop to an external display that has an HDMI input port.

The HDMI port on the PS3 console is a display output port only just like the laptop. You can hook it up to a monitor or TV that has an HDMI input port.
