Why is the screen of my computer shaking and colorful

could be too things the video card fan has failed and it overheating giving you those nice bars..or your monitor lcd pannel or inverter is failing. check the video card fan if it spinning i would try and slap a monitor onto your pc to see if the error follows the monitor or the pc.

Did it happen suddenly or it happens everytime you do something. Some people(included me) had some problems with nvidia last driver update, causing that type of screen everytime you fullscreen on youtube for example.
