Personally, I don't prefer Samsung because of its repetitive boring design. But, its strictly personal. There are many who love the round design. But not me.

I eventually wound up dropping AT&T for Sprint and got the HTC One, I love this phone it's so much better than any phone I've had so far. No boot loop problems, no charging problems, reads all my music, I can watch full screen 1080P video from content providers like Netflix and HBO Go, can't go wrong if you ask me! And the thin unibody construction is pretty awesome, every time I bring it out, my friends who have iPhones are constantly asking me about it.

I also had samsung as my first smartphone, but the screen protector gets scratch so easily. Finally change this to i6000.
