Solved! Why will my dell docking station NOT release my Dell laptop????

Today, suddenly, after a year of working just fine, my dell docking station will not release
my dell laptop!! HELP!!!!

Is the laptop inserted properly? It may be stuck... Try wiggling it while holding the release...

Its more then likely that Hpfreak is right. Check all the places that the dock makes contact with the laptop make sure nothing is clearly stuck when you hold the release most importantly don't force it you'r more likely to make it worse or break the laptop or the dock.

What type of laptop do you have? What model docking station? Is there any tension on the release when you pull it? There could be some broken internal parts, happens on the older models.
