Voodoo also has better quality control, and like many of these companies, offer to upgrade the laptop for you, while people like DELL say, that's nice you want to uupgrade instead let's sell you another one for 4x the cost of the parts you want.
It's boutique, you pay for the chintzy stuff like colours and logos and stuff, but also for generally better quality, better service, and other nice things. But whether it matters to you is the same as whether you appreciate the difference bewteen a Timex, Seiko, Tag Heuer, Omega, Vacheron Constantine or Ulysse Nardin.
