I have had a few set top boxes problem with set top boxes is support disappears after a year or two also sites seem to block these boxes your better off spending some money on a mini-pc with decent cpu and installing xmbc and getting a multimedia remote like the lenovo n5902a.

I think too many assumptions are being made trying to draw lines between Netflix, Roku, Apple TV.... They all offer streaming video but the author is trying to draw lines to how Amazon should offer a free device because they're now charging $99... The primary benefit of Amazon Prime is ordering products on amazon with free two day shipping. Amazon Instant video is great, I use it all the time but at the end of the day it's only a bonus to the hundreds of dollars I've saved not paying for shipping.
