My headphones randomly started not working (by that I mean the noise as distorted, and really quiet) and I don’t know what to do. Can someone please help me?

Well my headphones are connected to my iphone, They’re hot topic headphones, And whenever I plug them in and try to listen to something, it goes distorted and really quiet

Try the headphones on another phone or the phone on other headphones. Hopefully it's the headphones that need replacement rather than the iPhone needing repair.
