Solved! Widgets are not working on Acer aspire laptop

After a recent update all of the widgets stop working and I cannot click on any of the icons

Try rebooting (turning off and back on) the computer and see if that resolves it. Usually it will.

Should that not do it, you may have to remove the individual widgets, reboot and then readd them to the screen.
