Question Wife wants KVM use

Hello all. Welcome for any suggestions to make this happen for my wife.

Current equipment is an MSI GE72 6QD APACHE PRO Laptop (Intel I7-6700 & 960M video). and a pair of LG LG Ultrafine 32" monitors (supports both HDMI & DisplayPort).

She would like to connect this laptop to a KVM so she can also connect her work laptop to other port(s) on KVM to her monitors and a single keyboard/mouse combo.

I know very little about KVMs but do know many requirements Thunderbolt (which her laptop does not have). How can I possibly get her going properly (connections, cables which KVM, etc.)? Any assistance is greatly appreciated for this old man.

Thank you. I have a new problem. She just got a new work laptop. Now I need the following in a KVM

PC 1 is HDMI and DisplayPort

PC 2 has dual Thunderbolt ports.

I've now been able to locate a KVM with both options

Thunderbolt should be compatible with DP. What specific device requires TB?

The work laptop has dual thunderbolt connection ports. According to my wife, she plugs both in at work for multiple screen use.

Her personal laptop has no thunderbolt ports, so it's currently connected via HDMI, DisplayPort and USB-C.

Is the work laptop a Dell that plugs into a Dell docking station?
