Wifi will not work on my laptop

I can no longer access my wifi switch to turn on and off. My laptop is a HP Compaq 650 and it was working fine and then dropped out. I have turned router switch on and off several times, including the laptop, with no luck

Need some more info, the laptop no longer sees the wireless card in device manager? Do the wireless networks come up? Does it not work anywhere?
