He doesn't need to close a global business, he can just redirect all users with US IP addresses to anti-SOPA page.
THey should go black for a day or even better would be a week. I really believe if they do it will get the attention we need on these two bills. Currently i don't think we are getting the attention it really needs. So if not a week they should at least go black for one day. And when everyone trys to access the site's they will immediately be shown why they can't access the real site, and make everyone aware of the dangers of SOPA and PIPA. I really do believe that would work.
Anyone who has an ad-blocker for java scripts, or doesn't have java at all, OR who is smart enough to remove that tiny script locally, will not be affected by this.
There´s an application for android phones that allows you to know which companies are supporting SOPA (Puaj), and for example just select a product and the app shows you if belongs to any company supporting company in order to avoid you from buying it...

Its kind of easy to work around Wikipedia's blackout, you can still search and a reload of a page with a stop will keep the blackout page from covering the page for those of you who must use Wikipedia these next 24 hours.

they don't do that, they redirect everyone, though it's easy to bypass that thing, just press stop before the page finishes loading
