Will a new battery help?

I have recently bought a new charger for my laptop since the old charger broke. I have a Asus F550J laptop which requires a 120W charger but the new one i bought only has 90W. Ever since i have been using the 90W charger the battery have not been able to fully charge. And now the battery is just dead. When i turn the laptop on it says 0% charging but it never gets above that and it turns off before a minute has passed. So would it help buying a new battery or Will my new 90W charger just ruin a new battery aswell?

I would get the correct charger and see what happens. If it does not work to charge still, try the battery. Since the charger seemed to have caused battery issues, you should replace it anyway.

You need to get the correct charger, if you buy a new battery and continue to use the wrong charger, a few things could happen

1- It could charge and damage your new battery
2- Your new battery will not charge
