I have a pair of Logitech g930's and I was wondering if a dedicated sound card in my system, something like a Asus Xonar DG would help at all with a USB headset . Thanks
This is the problem with most gaming headsets, they use USB and have their own built in DAC. Usually it pretty terrible but I guess if you're a console gamer it's an upgrade. Console players cannot upgrade their sound card so that's the only reason I can see for it.
Nope, USB headsets won't use your sound card. That's the big issue with USB headsets, they only use what they have built into them so you will never see an improvement in sound.
