will sims 4 run on my Asus VivoBook 11.6?

You have to compare the hardware requirements to runs Sims 4 to the hardware specs of you VivoBook.

Most games list hardware requirements in some manner: e.g., minimal, recommended, and best.

You do not want minimal and you do want as much "best" as you can afford.

Not sure how much hardware upgrading is viable for the Vivobook nor how much any possible upgrades would cost.

Again start with the Sims 4 requirements.
