Will my elrment tv remote run my magnvox dvd player

Is there codes that will make my element tv remote work as the remote for my magnavox dvd player

If the TV has a "universal remote" and if the codes are in the owners manual then yes.
If you don't see Magnavox DVD or BD codes in the manual then you can try the other DVD codes. Many makers use an existing set of remote commands rather than make their own.
If the remote isn't made to operate other devices then a Logitech Harmony remote is the way to go. The remote is programmed online and they have an immense database of codes. If the codes aren't in their database then you teach them into it.
