will sims 4 work on windows 8.1?

I'm getting a new laptop tomorrow that has windows 8.1 and I'm just checking before I even try to play the game is both sims 4 and 3 will work properly. I'm not sure if it will do the same as my old laptop did on windows 10 with my graphics card.

Yes, Sims 4 is compatible with Windows 8.1.

I know that Windows 8.1 isn't technically on the recommended requirements for the Sims 3 - but I know people who have played TS3 on 8.1.

I also only say they SHOULD work, but that is simply because The Sims is a game that comes with a wealth of problems regardless.

Considering the Sims 4 was released back in 2014... one year before Windows 10 was released (2015)... I am pretty sure the game will run on Windows 8.1.
