will the samsung series 5200 work in the uk

I am moving from Florida to the UK. Will my Samsung Series 5200 40 inch television work there please?

For starters you will need a three pin 13 Amp plug on the mains lead. Secondly, our TV sets run on 625 lines here in the UK. It's probably best to leave it in Florida and but one here. A few hundred dollars (equivalent) will buy you a decent 42" flat screen TV.

Warning - British televsiion programming has gone downhill and most of the programmes are either American or rubbish. Just my $0.0.2.
