If you want it to last a few years, then no it will not last that long. Honestly it's already outdated and too expensive for the specs it includes. Here is a better laptop from Asus:

In short, it includes a 6 GB GTX 1060 which is a current-gen card and better than the 4 GB 980M. Also, for only $2 more than what you were going to pay for that other laptop, you can get a very fast 512 GB SSD instead of that small 128 GB SSD. All other specs are the same.

By the way, if you don't know how to select the bigger SSD in the customization menu, click the option for M.2 SSD Drive Slots, and then select the SanDisk X400 512 GB SSD option. DON'T TOUCH the already included 1 TB hard drive option under 2.5" Storage.

These specs are good enough for 1080p Ultra at around 60 FPS on all modern games. With the included G-sync display, it will still be good in a few years, when the graphics card can no longer do 60 FPS at Ultra settings. In that case, the display will change its refresh rate to match your game's FPS, so you don't get weird tearing in the image. Or you can lower your settings a bit and still hit around 60 FPS. You could go with a GTX 1070 but the price will increase by about $250.

Oh yeah, and you get three free games with this laptop: Forza Horizon 3, Rainbow Six: Siege, and Warhammer: The End Times: Vermintide. And a free gamepad.

Almost forgot, it is good enough for Oculus Rift, or HTC Vive.

Edit: This is the link to the default page for this laptop, so you can see its general information:
