Will Unplugging Laptop Damage Battery?

Can I unplug my Toshiba Satellite laptop when I'm not using it? Will this damage the battery?

Yes you can. no it won't. They are designed for exactly that.

Note however that if you have a regular spinning hard drive, the unit is not really meant to be carried around while it's running . Shock can cause the head to crash into the drive platters.
