Win10 on HP PAVILLON can't read sd cards on built-in reader

I have a PAVILLION HP running WINDOWS 10 and the card reader isn't working

In Control Panel>Device Manager, Disk Drives, look at the Multi card reader entry and see if updating the driver helps.
