I was just using this last night. I mirror the screen from my laptop to my tv wirelessly and it worked perfectly. Then it updated and now if I mirror my screen to the tv my laptop flickers and freaks out. It will reset the mouse the middle, change settings over and over and be unusable so I have to hard reset.
It was perfectly fine before the windows update. I tried forcing uninstall on those updates but it’s still glitching and blinking and moving my mouse around and changing extend to duplicate back and forth in a loop. I tried using DDU to remove and reinstall the drivers and it didn’t work. There is no system restore option because windows didn’t save one before updates.
It’s also much much slower now after the update even if I just use screen 2 and run the tv as my laptop screen only the videos etc are unwatchable because of the lag. The other laptop we have which is a newer g14 windows 11 one does not have this problem but we both need to be able to stream to the tv.
It also always defaulted to mirroring but it defaults now to showing two screens as an option and showing my desktop screen instead of the setting screen while my laptop is flickering.
I have tried everything I’ve seen online but nothing is like my issue. Forcing it to do nvidia or integrated only does not change this glitchy flickering.
How can I fix this?
