I was trying to make my headphones work on a windows ten toshiba laptop and i accidentally deleted my speakers is there anyway to get them back

Solution

Go to control panel ==> hardware and sound ==> at the top is device manager, click that and it will open up a new menu then listed amongst the devices will be sound. Right click the sound device and go to properties ==> driver ==> install/update driver.

un-plug them and plug them back in if they're external speakers but if they're the built-in ones go onto playback devices -> show disabled devices and enable them.

where can i find the playback devices because i cant see it in the the sound section

On the taskbar at the bottom where the time is, right click the speaker icon and its on there.

I dont have it there

Control Panel \ Hardware and Sound ==> Sound

Yes i know but it says No audio devices are installed

In that case you will need to use Kevbur's solution :).

I never saw you there thanks and how do i reinstall it and where is the auto update and sorry im not too good with computers
