windows 10 upgrade Lenovo G525 no sound

After upgrading to Windows 10, the sound on this laptop is so low it might as well be off. I downloaded realtek Win 10 driver but all that is showing is the default high def audio.

My question is, should I delete this high def audio currently on the laptop and then install the realtek driver, I would have thought the realtek driver would have been visible after unpacking it.

This seems to be a very common problem with the win 10 upgrade and the Lenovo G525 laptop. Any help would be most welcomed.

uninstall then reload the win10 driver.

Install driver that came with your laptop,windows 10 sound drivers are faulty.Don't worry even if it's for windows 7.
