Windows 8 problem or laptop function

I want to turn off if I can Fn + function key (f1,f2,f3 etc) my F1-F12 all have functions (brightness, volume, pause/play, mute etc) Can i turn this off?

Go to control panel, mobility center. It sometimes will have options for the function keys. If it doesn't try looking in bios.

Bios is different in every pc so couldn't tell you exactly where. It's not hard to find.
