Wired speakers disconnect from phone

I have a pair of wired Insignia speakers, and they always disconnect from my ZTE Obsidian.

Any time I try to play audio, they always disconnect and reconnect every few second so I have to go back and hit play on everything.

After about thirty minutes if I haven't unplugged them they'll start to work properly again.

I also use these with a PC and a Sony Xperia tablet and they don't have problems playing anything from those

Do my speakers just hate my music?

"Wired" and "disconnect" do not mix together...
So, are your speakers (you did not provide any model numbers) Bluetooth, paired to your Obsidian, or there is something else in between?
