Question Wireless connection hotspot works

Laptop detects mobile hotspot but not home router in wireless networks

Need more details. Mode of the Laptop and Router? Did it work before? If it did when did it stop? What have you tried already? Do other devices see your wifi router fine? Do you have the basic security setup on the router or did you set some things like hide the network names or setup a MAC filter, etc...?
