Hello guys.. ok here is the challenge..

-budget 1800$

Primary
-Gaming laptop 1000series pls
-Easy to carry for bussiness and school
-want to buy it this week
Secondary
-easy to sell after 4months(%50 chance to sell)
-vr gaming(ll buy htc vive)
-upgradeble
-planing to connect on 4k tv/monitor

My setup plan
-acer 15 v nitro black edition
-akitio thunder3
-gtx 1080

A)is there any bottleneck/compability problem with these?
B) or just buying gaming laptop with 1070 smth ll be better efficient for me?

Did you read the specs on the Akitio external dock about what size video cards it can hold? It's a bit over 9" long total, a GTX 1080 is about 10"-11" long. Tough to fit a 10" card in a 9" case.

You also say "up gradable" and then want to sell it in 4 months, which contradicts itself, why upgrade a system if you are selling it in 4 months?

If you want to use the system for 4k gaming, a laptop with a 1070 card is just about minimum you'd need, but will do well for VR.
