won't load up when booted

Nextbook Ares 10.1 won't load. Stuck pin in reset ,blank screen and then says Android is starting but never loads. what's going on?

This can happen if the device was rooted (so it would need to be unrooted or running a version of Android that wasn't meant for it. Try seeing it if it will start up in "Safe Mode". If it does, then you have something on the device that is the problem. If it won't, then either it is (as stated above) not using the correct OS or there is a hardware problem. Which would mean it would be best to have a tech look at it, should that be the case.

To get into "Safe Mode" please do the following.

1. First turn off the tablet.

2. Next press and hold "Power" until you see the manufacturers logo on the screen, then release the power button.

3. "Quickly" press "Volume Down" and hold it for few seconds until you see the message "Safe mode: ON" or something similar.

4. If you wanted disable it, simply repeat the steps above, and you should see "Safe Mode: OFF" rather than on.
