won't switch on

Hi i have a problem with my lenovo ideapad laptop z570.

I was using it last night and fell asleep with it left on. I however i woke up this morning to see my laptop won't turn on, all that appears on start up is the lenovo sign on the laptop screen. I have tried switching it on and off several times but the same thing keeps happening. What should i do?? Please help, i really need to use it for uni as I am in the middle of my revision.

RobWHS, thanks for the link, i had look through it, but none of that matches my problem. My screen doesn't, show any signs of loading, none of the buttons function except the power on and off button. It literally is a black background with a lenovo written in the middle, no signs of loading or start up.
