Hello, I would like to buy a new laptop but I can't decide which one. I need it to be 14-15,6" 1080p, no glosy, SSD only (256GB would be best), no dedicated gpu required, good build and long battery life (at least 6 hours) and lightweight. It will be used mainly for coding and programing on the go, not as my main work pc - I have a nice i5 + GTX 1060 at home for that and gaming. If possible, but I do not insist on it, some WoW on medium settings would be nice. Price 900€ max. exl. vat.

Right now I am thinking about DELL Vostro 5568 i5-7200U 15,6" FHD 8GB 256GB SSD that I can get for about 610€. Is this a good choice? I saw a review and seems like there are some build quality issues.

Another pick is Lenovo IdeaPad 510S-14IKB Silver, about 100€ less.

Thanks for all help :).

The Lenovo 510s is a great machine, but if I've read the data correctly, compared to the 510 it's slightly smaller, uses an IGP (a very good HD 620, but still an IGP), and it costs €30 more. I just don't understand the math behind the 510s.

Oh, I forgot about the Dell from your first post: If you can get a Dell with those specs for €610, I would jump on that one if I were you.

Here are 4 laptops for your consideration, all from alza.sk. I don't read or speak your language, so my apologies in advance if I missed something, like 'sold-out' or 'used'.

15.6" Lenovo ThinkPad E560 €659:
https://www.alza.sk/lenovo-thinkpad-e560?dq=4328785&catid=18842920
Decent-to-modest specs (dual-core Skylake i3, 4GBs of RAM, a 192GB SSD), weighs 2,5kg with battery life listed at 8 hours. ThinkPads enjoy a reputation for durability like few others, and this E560 should last you well past the requested 5 years.

15.6" Lenovo 510 €669:
https://www.alza.sk/lenovo-ideapad-510-15ikb-silver-d4534840.htm?catid=18842920
Roughly the same amount of money will buy you this 510 with a dual-core Kaby Lake i5, 8GBs of RAM, a 4GB Nvidia 940MX card and 256GBs of SSD storage. It weighs 2,2kg and Lenovo's home page lists battery life at 5 hours. This is a capable gaming laptop that will easily handle all your stated needs.

15.6" Acer Aspire E15 €509:
https://www.alza.sk/acer-aspire-e15-obsidian-black-aluminium-d4526399.htm?catid=18842920
The specs are similar to the ThinkPad's (except the Acer has a 256GB M.2 SSD), but it's considerably less expensive. 2,2kg but battery life is only 4.5 hours.

And finally, a 14" Lenovo Yoga 700-14 €800:
https://www.alza.sk/lenovo-ideapad-yoga-700-14isk-white-d4495713.htm?catid=18842920
Dual-core Skylake i5, a 2GB Nvidia 940M card, 8GBs of RAM and a 256GB SSD. Weight is 1,6kg and battery life almost 7 hours. This is a very capable multi-tasker clad in a very stylish chassis. The flip-design provides increased useability in social settings.

I know that Lenovo is over-represented on this list, but it is actually a fair reflection of Alza's list, given your criteria.

Cheers,
GreyCatz.
