After going around in circles I came to this:

Out of the four below, which is a better one?

https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/hp-omen-17-an102ng-4bz85ea-439-cm-173-notebook-schwarz - 8300H, 1060 6GB, about 1325 Euros

https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/asus-rog-gl702zc-gc105t-439-cm-173-notebook-schwarz - 5 1600, RX 580 4GB, about 1200 Euros

https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B07G44YVXQ - 8300H, 1060 6GB, about 1150 Euros

https://www.scan.co.uk/products/173-asus-rog-strix-gl702zc-gc104t-fhd-freesync-amd-ryzen-7-1700-16gb-ddr4-256gb-m2-ssdplus1tb-hdd-4g - 7 1700, RX 580 4GB, about 1300 Euros

Also open to alternatives. Have to ship to Cyprus

My initial budget was 1000 Euros but I had to push it

Ideally I wanted a 8750H with 1060 but it seems to be more expensive. I also gave up waiting for the prices to drop as they appear to be holding well and it seems that a small saving is not worth a long wait

The one from Amazon seems cheap and decent. Thoughts? Is 8300H + 1060 6GB a good combo for WoW? Is GL series good?

Asus looks to have the same specs, and is $200 cheaper. I don't think there are any quality differences. In general Asus is actually a more reliable brand than HP.

If it was my money, and looks did not matter, I would go with the Asus. I am not familiar with the keyboards or exact screens on them though. You may want to do some reading of reviews about those. A better screen and better keyboard would be worth the price difference.

MERGED QUESTION
Question from wowlaptop : "ROG Strix GL702ZC (for World of Warcraft)?"

That laptop is a killer! You can play anything with that!

Personally, my laptop is a Pavilion G15, with 8750H and Gtx 1060.

You will absolutely be fine with that laptop! Good price too!

Good luck! :)

p.s. If you have doubts, watch some benchmarks. But you will be getting very high FPS. Always above 60.
