[citation][nom]RicardoK[/nom]What if it was you who had a genetic disorder? or had your face scrubbed on the asphalt?[/citation]
How, it's not like it was Kanye's mom just trying to get her sexy back or something. This man (I'm assuming Jerome is a boy's name everywhere else in the world as well) needed this, and only superficial people would say it is any different than a heart or liver transplant.

Impressive and scary also. On a side note, doubt it that the resemblance to the dead donor would be complete: after all, the bone structure gives the features of one's face.

Sad people who would hail this is as dishonorable.. Let's see them lose their face and turn out to not want to get a transplant "because they think it's immoral"

I bet if u had a life long genetic disorder, that could be fixed with a new face, u would think different.

[citation][nom]Ultron[/nom]The patient must be careful not to do anything under the guise of someone who is dead. He would most certainly lose face for his crimes.[/citation]

I see what you did there. 😛

Hannibal Lector already pioneered the art of face transplants. 😉

IN other "technological" news - It may be raining today. This relates to technology as I have used a computer to google it - therefore IT IS TECH-NEWS!

WoW, medical advances are unbeleivable, hopefully I can get whole new bodyparts when I am old and live till 150+

What is more amazing is the reanimation of dead flesh... if his beard started to grow back then the hair follicles are still alive.

Hopefully that was a recently-deceased person's face, or french doctors now have the power of resurrection

Your bone structure is the same you dont look like the person who donated their skin to you, your eye colour would be the same, your cheek bones and chin would be the same etc.

Your skin colour might be different same with your eyebrows and lips but over all you would look more like your old self rather than the other person

That's great. I was actually expecting an "after" pic but not before because the article says he had a massive and hideous tumor.

this is just crazy! almost unbelievable...

Imagine going through what must be a painful procedure and still be ugly after? Get the bones restructured as well. (if needed)

I'm oh so glad this article was written in a (supposedly) COMPUTER HARDWARE page, I mean,
I can see the Corei7 in there!
