Solved! Would this Headset work properly on my laptop?

I have an old HP ProBook 4540s right now till I build my PC around July. The Sennheiser Game One are currently on sale in Amazon and I'm too scared to wait till July and have to get em on double the price or give up one them. So, I'm thinking of ordering them now instead. But, how do I know if my crappy laptop can play them? I'm under the impression that my laptop has crappy sound so I'm asking whether it would be worth getting or would my laptop's soundcard possibly ruin the headset or not run it, etc? Is there no way of knowing but trying it out?

EDIT: HP website says the Audio Codec is IDT 92HD87 High Definition CODEC if that matters
