Would this laptop be good enough for World of warcraft?

Solution
buy the newegg one. the one from best buy is garbage.

Also refurbished is not really used. They clean everything up and fix anything that was wrong with it

The one from newegg can play world of warcraft on medium to high settings no problem

Crap now i have to get more money. Haha

yea whatever you do dont buy that one from best buy. The cpu is has is soooo slow.
better to just save up!

Alright well, thanks! Anyone else opinion?

the newegg one seems quite good for gaming.
i also suggest you to try Acer Aspire V3-551-8469, its at $455 (free shipping at amazon) and it is the quad core engine and a separate GPU one can expect only from laptops at a high higher price point. - 1.9 GHz AMD A8-4500M with a 4GB SDRAM
- AMD Radeon HD 7640G graphics engines with its own 512 MB video RAM.
- 15.6-inch LED-backlit display with a 1366 x 768 resolution ,
- a 500GB SATA drive running at 5,400 rpm,
- an 8x multilayer optical drive all house
- a 1,3 megapixel HF webcam with Dolby speakers all housed in light 5.74 body.
- It also gets bundled with the Windows 8 and a 6-cell; Lithium Ion battery that can power you up for 5 hours,

you cant just count cores >.> the amd has stronger graphics, but a slower cpu. Overall it would be better for gaming. However, it costs $100 more so i don't think its worth it.

I would but I have a price range of 400 or lower.

my bad. maybe you can try Asus K55N-DS81, its at $399, its pretty good for gaming :)

I'm going to be the first one to say that you won't get a decent laptop for that budget. Maybe one that you can surf the web for, but not much more... That being said - with almost every laptop, you won't be satisfied for gaming because they just overheat a lot unless you have a really good cooling system. And with THAT being said, invest in a desktop. I thought laptops would be the most amazing thing for wow, just lay down and play, but it's not really as easy as that because it will get VERY hot and overheat. Friend popped out 2400 bucks for an alienware, within a year he had to use the integrated gfx card and was forced to play on low to med settings on wow. Btw, I know it sounds weird seeing as how I just said that gfx card stuff, but WoW for some reason has a lot to do with your processor, its odd.

Anyway that's my 2 cents. Oh and don't get an acer, they're specs are good and prices are low because their quality is minimal. Get an Asus or lenovo.

So... the one i linked, second one, is fine? had a guy tell me it was fine. Kinda my best bang for my buck now. And hes a computer guy, meaning he went into classes onto computer etc..
