Xperia tipo sudden battery death

I have xperia tipo. I have it for a few year, and it worked OK. Lately, it just dies, that is, the battery just jumps form like 50% to 0%, and it shuts down... Any idea why?

Try factory resetting it (making sure you have backed up your data if you need it). Then test it out and see if that has solved your problem.
