Solved! Yamaha soundbar ysp 2700

I have a YSP 2700, can any one tell me if the tv optical output on the back can be used for a music streamer instead. I have my Panasonic tv in the hdmi ARC socket.

If you want to connect a streamer to the optical audio INPUT on the soundbar it should be fine.
