So I dropped my laptop pretty bad. And the screen is all mashed up so I figured I shall connect it to an external monitor via vga cable. and everything works fine (I am writing this post from the laptop). But there is one problem the screen has this yellow tint everywhere. I tried connecting it to a different monitor to see if maybe the monitor has problems with it but nope. Both monitors i connected it to show the same (1 monitor, 1 tv). There is a tiny bit of the laptop screen left and it shows a normal color as far as I can tell. The next thing I did was test the vga cable but both my pc and other laptop(which is exactly the same model) worked just fine. I tried messing around the color calibration settings but nothing seems to help. My next step is to disassemble the laptop but I have no clue what to look for. I will post some pictures asap. I did some testing with the remote access chrome app which basically acts like teamwiever. I used an phone to connect to the laptop and the colors were just fine.
