[citation][nom]CyberAngel[/nom]Well going 240km/h (in which speed I can still take a quick peek) on my hayabusa doesn't make me pee in my pants.[/citation]
300km/h left me dry down below as well. People who haven't gone fast on two wheels don't generally realize how effortless and unexciting it can be. Getting there is fun, but staying there not so much. IMHO

As for the Seg, the bigger wheels have to be designed for low weight, as a heavy wheel would require more power to spin from a dead stop. Not everything engineers did 200 years ago was stupid by today's standards.

[citation][nom]awood28211[/nom]Why did he not just use 27" bicycle wheels? Air tubes, stable, mount up some disc brake for an emergency...[/citation]

You DO realize that disc brakes would cause instant face-plants right?

Kodos: It seems the earthlings won.
Kang: Did they? That Segway with big wheels goes faster. But the humans won't stop there. They'll make bigger wheels and bigger wheels, and soon, they will make a Segway with wheels so big, it will destroy them all!
