Might need to check the model, Youtube stopped being supported by many of the slightly old Bravia's

Common problem with YouTube on some smart TVs, not just Sony Bravia. Sometimes it's the specific video itself that's been badly created --- it'll start OK then freeze or stop halfway through --- pick a different video and that plays just fine so it proves it's a bad video and not YouTube generally.

Also if using WiFi on the TV, much better if you use ethernet instead if TV has ethernet port.
