2. Use your adaptive fast charger
a. Inset the USB-C cable into the phone’s charger port
b. Connect the other end of the USB cable to charging head and plug into a standard outlet.
c. Unplug your phone from the charger when charging is complete.

An adaptive fast charger should come supplied with your Note8, however, if you do not have the fast charger that was supplied with your device, you may identify an adaptive fast charger by looking at the back. The output should read 9.0V->1.67A or 5.0V->2.0A and would normally have the words “Adaptive Fast Charging” printed.

• Charge your phone while turned off.
• Use an official Samsung Adaptive Fast Charger when possible.
• Use a standard wall outlet instead of a laptop or PC to charge your phone’s battery.
