Fix Update Bug on Your Pebble

It's possible that while updating the operating system on your Pebble smartwatch, you may experience some issues.

In order to fix this, a small tweak can be used which involves turning off the Bluetooth in both devices (your phone and the smartwatch), restarting the devices, and then turning the Bluetooth back on.

This tweak resolves the issue most of the time and allows the operating system of the smartwatch to update.

You can follow the steps below to use the above discussed tweak in order to fix the update bug on your Pebble smartwatch:

    ■Switch on the iPhone by pressing the Sleep/Wake button.
    ■Turn the Bluetooth setting off by going through Settings > Bluetooth on the phone.

    ■Reboot your device.
    ■Once this is done, on your Pebble smartwatch, go to Menu > Settings > Bluetooth to turn off the Bluetooth setting.

    ■Reboot the watch by pressing the Back, Up, and Select buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds.
    ■When the watch is restarted, go to the Bluetooth setting to turn it on.

    ■Turn Bluetooth on, on your iPhone as well and re-launch the Pebble app.
    ■Connect the Pebble watch with the iPhone via Bluetooth.
    ■Once connected, update the watch’s operating system to the latest version.
