How to Change the Resolution on your Amazon Fire Stick

The Amazon Firestick known for its wide range of extensive features has given a lot of importance to the display and sound feature of the device. This has helped the user to modify their display settings including the video quality, setting up the screensaver and also changing the video resolution to their choice. Here is how you can change the video resolution on the Amazon Fire Stick.
Step 1
Foremost, the user must be able to get to the settings menu to reach the display settings in it. The customer must ensure that he/she keeps pressing the ‘Home’ button for a certain amount of time. This will lead the customer to the ‘Settings’ menu to get displayed on the Amazon Fire TV.

Step 2
Now the user should choose the ‘Display & Sounds’ choice from the overall list of other settings. On selecting the Display & Sounds tile, you will notice the sub-options that are completely related to the display and the sounds feature of the Amazon Fire TV

Step 3
Now from the sub-options of Display & Sounds, you must choose the ‘Display’ option. Here you will notice the current display being displayed. On selecting this choice, you will be able to do the configuration of the display resolution.

Step 4
Now from the display options, the user has to select the ‘Video Resolution’ option in order to change the video resolution on your Amazon Fire Stick.

Step 5
Here the user can choose the resolution of their choice for the Amazon Fire Stick. The user can either select the particular video resolution or change from their original resolution to ‘Auto’, thereby enabling the automatically set the optimal resolution fit for the Amazon Fire TV.

Step 6
Now you get a confirmation screen for the screen to get changed to chosen resolution. You need to press the ‘Confirm’ button to confirm the resolution change, else press the cancel button to revert back to the previous options.

You will now successfully modify the video resolution on your Amazon Fire Stick by following the above steps.
