Some Windows Phone users are having problems with the pinch-to-zoom gesture their phone. If you are one of them then you have come to the exact place. Because, we are going to give you some tips to get rid of this problem. It should work on almost every Windows Phone, including the Lumia 930:
Steps:
1. Restart the phone – you can try restarting your phone to get rid of this issue. To restart -
a. Press and hold the power button until you see slide down to power off option
b. Then slide down and wait for the phone to be switched off.
c. After about 6 seconds press and hold the power button and wait until the phone restarts.
There’s another way to restart the phone:
d. First, press and hold the power button and volume down button together about 10-15 seconds.
e. When you feel the vibration stop pressing the buttons and your phone will restart.
2. Soft reset – if you couldn’t fix the problem after restarting then you should try a soft reset. But before that, you should back up your data. The soft reset will erase your all of your data. To do a soft reset-
a. Make a backup.
b. Then go to 'Settings' on your phone
c. Then tap on ‘About’
d. Tap on ‘Reset your phone’. You will be warned about making a backup.
e. You should tap on ‘Yes’ twice. Wait until it resets.
3. Hard reset- if the problem still exists after doing a soft reset then you should do a hard reset. Again you should backup your data before doing this.
a. Press and hold the Power & Volume down (-) buttons together until you feel a vibration (about 10–15 seconds).
b. Once you feel the vibration, instantly stop pressingthe power button and press and hold only the Volume down button. Wait until you see an exclamation (!) mark on the screen.
c. When you are on the exclamation mark screen, press the following buttons in the following order: 1.Volume up (+), 2.Volume down (-), 3. Power button, 4.Volume down (–) again.
d. Your phone should reset and restart..
