Netflix can become a crossroads of too much viewing history and preferences over content and languages. At times, you need to go back and change something which you no longer need. Algorithms in these platforms work according to the input you feed it: the likes, the preferences, the constant viewing activity, all that becomes the DNA of your Netflix profile. The best part about this DNA is that you can change it. The best thing you can probably do is resetting it to its default settings (Factory settings) Effectively, with few steps. Let’s look at those steps.
These steps are for representation. You can change or modify more settings accordingly in this same section.
Step 1
Click the ‘Profile Icon’
When you are on Netflix Home Screen, go to the 'profile icon'. Clicking that will give you a set of options.
Step 2
Select ‘Account’
Out of the options you have, click on ‘Account.’
Step 3
Go to ‘Language’
In this section, you can change the 'Language preference' of the platform.
Step 4
Select the 'Language preference'
Now you can select the 'Language preference' of the platform from either default to a new one, or from the original language to the default.
Step 5
Click on ‘Viewing activity’
Click on 'Viewing History'. It will open a new page which stores all your history.
Step 6
You can manipulate or delete your previous viewing history so that it doesn’t show up on the home page.
As mentioned above, you can change all settings accordingly and even manage your billing details. Netflix has a stream of options to let the platform be friendly to use and access frequently.
