How to Install a New Channel on Roku

Roku digital player has helped the users to add channels according to their choice, they also have the privilege to access both the free and the paid channels and also remove them when needed. There are an easy navigation and range of intuitive features that have attracted many people all over the world. Here is how you install the new channels on your Roku device easily.

Step 1
To get all the prominent options to be displayed on the Roku TV, you need to press the ‘Home’ button as shown in the figure.

Step 2
Now using your Roku remote, you need to scroll down the available options and choose the ‘Streaming Channels’ to find the complete list of available channels. Here you can choose the channel to be added and installed on your Roku device.
 
Step 3
Now from the list of wide range of channels under the Featured streaming channels, you can scroll and choose the featured channel to get added and installed. Here the NFL channel is chosen and on clicking the channel’s name.

Step 4
Now choose the ‘Add Channel’ option to include this channel on your Roku device.

Step 5
You will now see the chosen channel to be added to your Roku device.

Step 6
Now, In the confirmation box for adding the channel press the ‘OK’ button

Step 7
You will now notice that the channel has been added to the list of featured channels on your Roku device. Click on the ‘Go to Channel’ option to reach out to the channel. On finding the channel on the homepage, you can click on them for installation and start viewing the channel

In case you don't find the newly installed channel in the channels list, you might try rebooting or updating the software on your Roku device.
