VPNs are useful for a plethora of things. They can hide all your steps on the web but also can confuse many location restriction algorithms. Read on and find out how to install this useful app into your Fire TV.
Go to the 'System' Menu on your Fire TV
This option is a part of the 'Settings' menu in the main screen. You can scroll to the right and you will see an icon that says 'System' on top. Enter the menu.
Find the menu called 'Developer Options'
‘Developer Option’ is available in the ‘System’ Menu and will allow us to change settings needed for the VPN installation.
Turn On the Options needed for the Installation
There is an option called ‘ADB Debugging’ and another called ‘Apps from unknown sources’, both should be turned on. This is because the NordVPN is not considered by your Fire TV as a part of those categories.
Get the Downloader App from the Store
Back to the main screen in your Fire TV use the magnifying glass to type the word ‘Downloader’ and find the app.
Install the ‘Downloader’ App
Use the ‘Downloader’ app to find the ‘NordVPN’ app and download that one too. You will have to write the code down in the ‘Search Box’ of the Downloader app.
Find the Uploaded App
Back to your Fire TV, you will find this option at ‘Settings’, ‘Applications’ and choose the ‘Manage Installed Applications’ option.
Launch the App
When you find the one you want just click on ‘Launch Application’ from the menu and it will launch as if it was your phone.
